Ünal Üstel Prioritizes Economic Growth and Stability for Upcoming Legislative Year
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Chairman of the National Unity Party (UBP), announced plans to prioritize the economy in the upcoming legislative year, aiming to enhance citizens’ purchasing power and curb high market prices.
Üstel emphasized completing all essential projects by utilizing available resources, stating, “We will maintain our political stability and strong government until 2027.”
In a Facebook post, Üstel highlighted the excitement among UBP members as the party convention approaches, describing a “magnificent movement” within the organization that signals future success.
He stressed that the UBP, as both a large family and party, will emerge victorious from the congress process and continue forward with stability.
Üstel assured that the UBP will remain a strong force in the new legislative term, outlining their goals:
“A steadily growing UBP, united MPs, and a focus on brotherhood and friendship. A UBP that makes history with impactful actions and unites its members.
In government and Parliament, the UBP will prioritize the people’s welfare, complete unfinished projects, enact overdue reforms, and pass long-pending legislation.
We will concentrate on boosting the economy and increasing purchasing power, while tackling high market prices. It’s time to resolve our 40-year energy issue; we’ve initiated necessary steps and will see them through. The electricity problem is a top priority. Just as we accomplished opening the airport, implementing local government reform, and completing the Alsancak road, we’ll achieve this as well.
We’re addressing highway issues, with 3 projects completed and 5 more underway. Our 3 new hospital projects have started, and we have significant initiatives for our youth. As an executive government, we are action-oriented and believe in results.
Many projects were stalled due to political instability. With strong relations with Türkiye, we’ve completed some and resumed others. I promise to complete all priority projects for our people by leveraging all resources, maintaining political stability, and ensuring our strong government until 2027.”
Üstel promised a brighter and stronger future, where prosperity grows.
