People’s Party Chairman Özersay Criticizes UBP-DP-YDP Government for Eroding Public Trust and Prioritizing Personal Gains.
HP Chairman Özersay condemns UBP-DP-YDP for corruption and partisanship, eroding public trust during a crucial period.
People’s Party (HP) Chairman Kudret Özersay has issued a strong condemnation of the UBP-DP-YDP government, asserting that it has eroded public faith in the state during a crucial period of defending the two-state solution.
In his statement, Özersay highlighted that the ongoing thefts, corruption, and partisanship have alienated the public from the state at a time when unity and support were paramount.
“These actions prove that the UBP-DP-YDP government has nothing to do with nationalism or the national cause; their only concern is sharing profit and benefits,” Özersay stated.
He further pointed out that the prosecution of ministry directors, private secretaries, registrars, members of parliament, former ministers, and YÖDAK members in connection with bribery and fake diploma scandals demonstrates the extent of the harm inflicted on the state.
Additionally, he noted that employment practices contrary to principles of equal opportunity further undermine public trust in the government.
