Markets Association Brags: Cleaning Product in TRNC Significantly Cheaper Than in Türkiye and Southern Cyprus.
TRNC cleaning materials are 20% cheaper than Türkiye and 40% cheaper than Southern Cyprus, thanks to strong local production.
Markets Union President Fuat Nesip Nalcıoğlu announced in a written statement that a price comparison study was conducted for cleaning materials in the markets of the TRNC, Türkiye, and Southern Cyprus.
Nalcıoğlu highlighted that cleaning materials in the TRNC are 20 percent cheaper than in Türkiye and 40 percent cheaper than in Southern Cyprus.
He further elaborated that while the cost of a basket of cleaning materials in the TRNC is 735 TL, the same basket costs 949 TL in Türkiye and 34.45 euros (approximately 1240 TL) in Southern Cyprus.
Nalcıoğlu attributed the lower prices in the TRNC to the presence of strong production facilities for cleaning products and the reasonable profit margins maintained by importers in this sector.
